Deerfield Valley Food Pantry

Citizen of the Year

On Memorial Day 2023 the American Legion awarded its Citizen of the Year award to the Deerfield Valley Food Pantry. The Board of Directors and our volunteers are honored and appreciative of this recognition.

The mission of the Deerfield Valley Food Pantry is to see that

no one in the area goes needlessly hungry or lacks the basics for personal care.

We provide, as well as our resources permit, food and other items to all those

who ask for assistance. We do not turn anyone away.

The Food Pantry primarily serves the towns of Dover, Halifax, Marlboro,

Readsboro, Searsburg, Whitingham and Wilmington and is a member of the Vermont Foodbank.

The Deerfield Valley Food Pantry is an equal opportunity provider.
