Deerfield Valley Food Pantry REGULAR June distribution dates will be on: Thursday 6/15 from 1-3 PM, and Saturday 6/19 from 9-11 AM. We will be serving our customers via “curbside” again this month – meaning our customers should drive up to the food pantry and wait in their cars. One of our volunteers will check the customers in, and another volunteer will load groceries into the vehicle. Please help us practice “social distancing” by staying in your cars. Thank you!

Everyone Eats meals will be offered again and for the next several weeks. (we hope longer!)
Area restaurants are working to provide nutritious prepared meals for Vermonters in need of food assistance! The program is also a way to provide a source of income for these businesses who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19, while also providing Vermont farmers and food producers an opportunity to increase sales – 10% of the ingredients are purchased from Vermont producers.
Meals for anyone in our community who is in need of a prepared meal. The program supports our local restaurants, who are here to support the community in turn! THURSDAY 11am-12pm at Saint Mary’s in the Mountains, 13 E. Main Street (go to the lower rear door, near the parking lot. Meals are first come, first served, and you may pick up for other families/family members. (limit 2 meals per person you are picking up for).

USDA FARMERS TO FAMILIES food boxes will continue to be available at daily food distributions throughout the state through May.
Thanks to generous community and Federal support, the Vermont Foodbank is able to extend the Farmers to Families Food Box program through May.
To keep wait times to a minimum, reservations will be required for the distributions. To register and see the dates and locations, please visit https://humanresources.vermont.gov/food-help or call 802-476-0316 for assistance.
New distribution dates and locations will be posted regularly –please continue to check back if you do not see the location or date you are looking for. May dates will be posted soon.
Each reservation will receive 1 box with about 30 lbs of food, including fresh produce, dairy products, and meat.
You are welcome to pick up food for other families who are not able to make it to the pickup site, just be sure to make a separate reservation for each household you would like to pick up for. Each reservation is for one box of food.
The Vermont Foodbank may be providing boxes food at distributions held throughout the state during the coming months. Distributions are drive-through events at which you will be directed to pull up to a specific location and food items will be loaded into your vehicle. All food will be distributed while supplies last.
They are making every effort to streamline the distribution process. However, depending on turn out at each event, you may have to wait in your car. They suggest you bring water and snacks in the event there is a wait.
