Deerfield Valley Food Pantry
P.O. Box 1743, Wilmington, VT 05363
Deerfield Valley Food Pantry Regular January distribution dates will be on: Thursday 1/14 from 1-3 PM, and Saturday 1/16 from 9-11 AM. We will be serving our customers via “curbside” again this month – meaning our customers should drive up to the food pantry and wait in their cars. One of our volunteers will check the customers in, and another volunteer will load groceries into the vehicle. Please help us practice “social distancing” by staying in your cars. Thank you!
THE DEERFIELD VALLEY FOOD PANTRY serves people of the Deerfield Valley who live in Dover, East Dover, Halifax, Jacksonville, Marlboro, Readsboro, Searsburg, Whitingham, and Wilmington.
If you are in need of food, CALL 802-464-0148 for information or help.

EVERYONE EATS DEERFIELD VALLEY Meal Distribution
Area restaurants are working to provide nutritious prepared meals for Vermonters in need of food assistance! The program is also a way to provide a source of income for these businesses who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19, while also providing Vermont farmers and food producers an opportunity to increase sales – 10% of the ingredients are purchased from Vermont producers.
Meals available: Thursdays, November 5 to December 3, 11-12 AM at the Old High School Parking lot.
If you would like information about other opportunities to pick up meals or have them delivered if you are unable to leave the house, contact Becky Stockhaus-Arbella at Shires Housing: (774) 402-0079 or [email protected]; or for Wilmington deliveries, Meg Staloff at Wilmington Works (802)380-9417.
“Vermont Everyone Eats is funded by the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund and made possible through a grant provided by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development to Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA).”
The Vermont Foodbank may be providing boxes of food at additional distributions held throughout the state during the coming months. Distributions are drive-through events at which you will be directed to pull up to a specific location and food items will be loaded into your vehicle. All food will be distributed while supplies last.
They are making every effort to streamline the distribution process. However, depending on turn out at each event, you may have to wait in your car. They suggest you bring water and snacks in the event there is a wait.

We do not turn anyone away.

Monetary donations are gratefully accepted, and may be made via PAYPAL by clicking the DONATE button above,
OR mailed to:
DVFP, Inc. P.O. Box 1743, Wilmington, VT 05363
The DVFP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and your donation is tax deductible. We rely on donations of food items, the financial support of local churches, towns, organizations and individuals, plus an annual membership drive to make sure our shelves are never empty.
We serve Dover, Halifax, Jacksonville, Marlboro, Readsboro, Searsburg, Whitingham, and Wilmington.
The Deerfield Valley Food Pantry has a new sign! The sign has a removable bottom section that will be hung up the week of distribution, and removed after Saturday’s distribution is complete.
