Deerfield Valley Food Pantry
Deerfield Valley Food Pantry Regular July distribution dates will be on: Thursday 7/16 from 1-3 PM, and Saturday 7/18 from 9-11 AM. We will be serving our customers via “curbside” again this month – meaning our customers should drive up to the food pantry and wait in their cars. One of our volunteers will check the customers in, and another volunteer will load groceries into the vehicle. Please help us practice “social distancing” by staying in your cars. Thank you!
ALL ARE WELCOME.
If you are in need of food, CALL 802-464-0148 for information or help.
ALSO: The Vermont Foodbank will be providing a food drop for families and individuals in need in Wilmington on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Church. YOU WILL NEED TO PRE-REGISTER, AND SIGN UP FOR SPECIFIC TIMES – see web site info below. (Pre-registration keeps people from having to wait an extended period of time as well as making sure that there is adequate food for all who show up.)
The Vermont Foodbank will be providing boxes of food at distributions held throughout the state. Distributions are drive-through events at which you will be directed to pull up to a specific location and food items will be loaded into your vehicle. All food will be distributed while supplies last.
They are making every effort to streamline the distribution process. However, depending on turn out at each event, you may have to wait in your car. They suggest you bring water and snacks in the event there is a wait.

The mission of the Deerfield Valley Food Pantry is to see that no one in the area goes needlessly hungry, or lacks the basics for personal care. We provide, as well as our resources permit, food and other items to all those who ask for assistance.
We do not turn anyone away.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently NOT accepting non-perishable food donations.
Monetary donations are gratefully accepted, and may be made via PAYPAL by clicking the DONATE button above,
OR mailed to:
DVFP, Inc. P.O. Box 1743, Wilmington, VT 05363
The DVFP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and your donation is tax deductible. We rely on donations of food items, the financial support of local churches, towns, organizations and individuals, plus an annual membership drive to make sure our shelves are never empty.
We serve Dover, Halifax, Jacksonville, Marlboro, Readsboro, Searsburg, Whitingham, and Wilmington.
The Deerfield Valley Food Pantry has a new sign! The sign has a removable bottom section that will be hung up the week of distribution, and removed after Saturday’s distribution is complete.
